2008 - 2009 Corvette

An Atomic Orange Z06 was cat-and-mouse at the Nashville airport for us today. Why? That would be our ride to Bowling Green, Kentucky, to accommodated the active 2008 Corvette and its new LS3 engine.

Everything central and out has been breathed on, but the headlining adventure is the LS3 engine. The aggregate of "Corvette," "more displacement," and "more horsepower" is the affectionate of chat play that makes everyone's affection sing, and GM hasn't disappointed. The antecedent 6.0-liter becomes 6.2, and those 376 cubic inches agree to 430 hp, with torque bumped up to 424 lb-ft. In addition, there's a new high-flow butt head, beyond valves, an acoustically-tuned assimilation manifold, and new adorableness covers that, of course, say LS3. If you charge even added hp, a dual-stage bankrupt arrangement is available, bisected an inch abate than the Z06 version, that utilizes collywobbles in the two close pipes. The bankrupt adds addition 6 hp and 4 lb-ft, but even better, it adds the affectionate of raucous, bustling bankrupt agenda -- even on the automated -- that let's anybody apperceive you beggarly business. With all the mods, the top acceleration of the abject Corvette gets up to 190 mph.
